At this point, nJoys metal plugs are cult favorites in the sex toy community. And for good reason – this is simply the very best that the metal butt plug “class” has to offer.
From the minimal, luxurious packaging all the way to the metal plug itself, this is an all-around experience.
Firstly, it simply looks beautiful and feels right. Just the right size for that filled-up, beautiful feeling while also being small enough to be a first.
In fact, I’d say that it would be the best starting point for a beginner to butt plugs. Just make sure to go slow at first and never do anything that hurts you. Slight discomfort due to nerves is normal, but physical pain is NOT normal.
Once you reach the point where you are comfortable with wearing the plug, the rest of the fun starts. Njoy plug at Medium is what you want to use for solo play. Enjoy that filled-up feeling and start combining with other toys.
The orgasms will be enhanced and last longer. I have had particular success with nJoy M + the LELO Dot pinpoint clit vibe.

You see, there are key differences – the smaller size is simply a marvel for two purposes.

The metal plug itself is just as beginner-friendly as the nJoy plugs. It’s body-friendly, slides in well, and is small enough for a complete beginner.
As I said, I am not much of a cosplay person, but with this metal plug, I simply love looking at myself in the mirror and perhaps even taking a picture or two. Nearly always manages to get me in the mood.
If there was one issue I’d like to point out then it’s this – the DOMINIX doesn’t feel quite as heavy as the nJoy plugs. And this may just be a personal thing, but I like my metal plugs as heavy and filling as possible.
Still, the DOMINIX looks amazing, is body-friendly, and will generally do well for anyone looking to explore their furry fantasies a bit.
Best Butt Plug Set – “Lovehoney Jeweled Metal Butt Plug Set”

Jeweled butt plugs get a bit of a bad rep in the toy community. They have a reputation for being a bit unsafe and accident-prone.
And I mean – you SHOULD be cautious. It is not a good idea to end up in the ER with a butt plug lodged up your ass. Just not worth it, no matter how good it feels.
Not ALL jewel butt plugs are unsuited for use though. As long as you have a well-designed, body-friendly flared base, you are good to go.
Why even go for jeweled butt plugs though? Well, they look gorgeous. Simple as. There’s a sort of weird, feminine, cutesy energy about wearing a jewel plug. And my partner enjoys seeing me wear one too!
This one is also my favorite metal butt plug set for one specific reason – the “flow” from smaller plugs to larger ones is just right in this set.
The smallest bulb is only 1.8 ounces in weight, but the largest one will give you considerable treatment at 5.1 ounces. The medium sits at a comfortable 3.2 ounces.

Now, there’s one single flaw about this set.
In my experience, the slightly sharper shape of this Lovehoney plug makes it a bit harder for sliding it. Doesn’t go in quite as smoothly as the nJoys.

The biggest plug on this list is, surprise surprise, the largest metal butt plug from nJoy.
This is the one you go for if you want to graduate your butt plug game and wear something that will fill you up completely. As a vulva-owner, this is a bit too much for me to engage on the regular.
However, there’s one specific area where this plug shows its value – prostate stimulation/male anal stimulation in general.
Keep in mind that you’ll still want to go for something like Aneros vibrators or LELO Bruno if you want targeted, precise prostate stimulation. However, for testing the waters and figuring out whether you’ll even enjoy P-spot play, the large nJoy is a great starting point.
There’s enough size and fill there to put pressure on exactly the right spots. According to my partner, it feels particularly nice when you move around and the plug accidentally moves inside a bit.
If you are a beginner to all of this and are a vulva-owner then don’t start here. You simply don’t want to start testing your limits with something this big. For a penis-owner though, this may just be a better choice than some of the more “timid” specimens in here.
