A prostate orgasm isn’t just your average climax. It is a sort of a Loch Ness monster that can be pretty damn hard to achieve if you are not used to stimulating that area. And, to be completely transparent, there are folks out there that never really get into prostate stimulation.
And this is completely fine too!
However, is it worth a try?
Absolutely.
The prostate is situated just inside the rectum. At the base of the blatter, about two inches in. And, it’s full of nerve endings that reach very well to stimulation.
Hence, the prostate is sometimes cheekily called the P-Spot. A sort of take on G-Spot, a similarly “mysterious” area for vulva owners.
How does a prostate orgasm feel though? Well, in a nutshell, it’s more intense than a regular male orgasm. I am not saying it’s necessarily better, but it’s more of an experience.
Most penis-owners (myself included) can attest to the fact that a prostate orgasm is something that takes over your entire body. When done right, you’ll feel your entire body tingle and even “vibrate” after a P-Spot orgasm. The orgasm starts from the back-end and then flows through your entire body. From toe to head.
It also lasts – for me, it’s usually a minute or so, but some folks report having prostate orgasms that go on for up to five minutes. I am not quite there yet as I engage with prostate play on a semi-regular basis only, but I’d be more than happy if I managed to hit the five-minute mark too in my future endeavors.
If you didn’t guess yet, I’ll be reviewing a prostate toy today. The LELO Loki Wave 2. A newest iteration of the Loki Wave series of male anal vibrators from LELO that has been known as one of the most beginner-friendly and reliable ways for penis-owners to unlock the magic of prostate orgasm.
So, how does the Loki Wave 2 measure up? Let’s see.
By the end, you’ll have an idea of whether this LELO male toy will be for you or not. Of course, I’ll also share my own personal experiences with this one and also share my orgasm ratings.
So, let’s kick things off.

First Impressions & Contents of the Box

The Loki Wave 2 arrives in classic LELO style: the box is minimal, black, gender-neutral, and just…well, sleek and cool. The LELO packaging in general is my favorite out of all sex toy brands. Not that it matters. but still throwing this out here. Oh, and everything is shipped discreetly too.
Speaking of the toy itself – the Loki Wave 2 looks like it means business. Reminds me of a sickle with its confident, almost strict look.
It has its two distinct arms – one for stimulating that nut-shaped prostate of yours and the other one for teasing the perineum while you are getting worked from the inside. The base is firm and the Loki Wave 2 sits in the hand very well.
The buttons for operating the patterns and intensities are also situated on the base for easy access.
Now, the material of Loki Wave 2 is also worth a mention. Simply because the pictures don’t really do it any justice. You see, this high-end silicone is damn soft and nice. The toy is firm, sure, but the almost-silky nature of the silicone kind of makes it more appealing and beginner-friendly.
Even if you have never had anything up there before, you kind of want to start experimenting with this one immediately.
Now, in addition to your Loki Wave 2, the box also features:
- A USB charging cable – You’ll get two hours of play with Loki Wave 2 on a full charge.
- A satin storage pouch for tucking your toy away from prying eyes
- The instruction manual
- A 2-year warranty card + 10-year quality guarantee – LELO toys in general are built well and you shouldn’t expect any issues. However, it’s good to know that the company still has you covered.
How Does it Feel? – My Personal Experience with LELO Loki Wave 2

I started my ride with plenty of lube and you should do the same! It goes without saying that the area we are going for with this one is not naturally lubricating.
Let’s talk amounts too – you’ll want to use as much lube as humanly possible. Even if you are a seasoned prostate enthusiast. The more, the better! Simple as.
Before my session, I also made sure to be as relaxed as possible. This is also key as prostate stimulation is not comparable to a “beat it and go” nature of something like regular masturbation or a blowjob. For prostate stimulation, your body and mind should both be as relaxed as possible for best results.
So, going in!
First off, compared to other prostate vibrators I have tried, the Loki Wave 2 felt… bizarrely natural. Like a soft velvet finger inside you, curling ever so gently toward the sweet spot and then backing off. Like a slow tease. Something that I honestly never associated with prostate play before. As someone who identifies as a straight man, prostate stimulation always had an intrusive energy to it. Good, sure, but still violating in a sense.
Nothing of that note here.
The placements of the arms are wonderfully done here. The thick arm kind of tickles you with its rumbly vibrations. There is a technology that LELO uses called the WaveMotion. It makes the arm stimulate the prostate in a deliberate “come hither” motion. To me, though, having the arm vibrate inside feels more like a teasing tickle.
After about three minutes of play, my body started to come alive. This is also where I started to pay more attention to what the external arm is doing. It pressures the perineum and adds another layer of pleasure to the entire area.
Five minutes now – this is where the work of both of the arms blends into a symphony. The entire area starts to get warm, I am super hard, and frankly…I want to start playing with my penis. In fact, adding a vibrating penis ring to this affair seems like a wonderful idea.
Something that I will probably experiment with in the future.
For now, I resisted the temptation and went for a more intense pattern instead. I want to focus on the back-end only.
I managed to find something throbbing, deep, and powerful. From there, I just laid down and let the experience wash over me.
And then it happened. An orgasm.
First, everything tightened. My legs, the anus, the penis, and my upper body all went stiff. Then, the feeling quickly flew into my penis. I ejaculated a bit, sure, but this was only the beginning.
From there, everything starts to come in waves. Your body tightens and then just releases. And then again. And then again. This goes on for slightly more than a minute and then quietly subsides.
Oh, and the afterglow of a prostate orgasm is amazing. Way more relaxing when compared to the usual stuff. The closest I can come to describing it is as if you just got a very long deep tissue massage.
In fact, this afterglow alone makes it worth experimenting with prostate play.
Now, before we do a round-up of the advantages and disadvantages of the LELO Loki Wave 2, let’s do a quick orgasm rating for this toy.
Orgasm Rating

I hate giving numerical ratings to things like orgasms and sex toys, but The Internet these days absolutely adores this type of stuff…so here goes.
LELO Loki Wave 2 gets an orgasm rating of 9/10 from me.
It is slow, different, engages nearly the entirety of the body, and lasts a good while. Keep in mind that I had some previous experience with prostate stimulation and my mindset was at an ideal spot, but yeah…this one was good.
Why not 10/10 then? Well, because I have only ever had about two perfect orgasms in my life and they did not include sex toys or toy testing. My wife and I were young and just clicked in an almost magical manner. It was perfect and I suspect that there isn’t a toy out there that can replicate something like this.
Let’s get back on topic now though and do a round-up of the advantages and disadvantages of LELO Loki Wave 2.
Advantages of LELO Loki Wave 2
Quiet Operation – Ok, so it’s not really whisper-quiet. It is hearable. After all, we are dealing with two motors. However, compared to most of the alternatives out there, it does its job discreetly. Close the door or do your business in the bathroom with some water running and you’ll get away with it.
Beginner-Friendly Design – The Loki Wave 2 is intuitive. Here, you don’t need to watch hours of YouTube tutorials or read scientific studies on prostate stimulation. Just enter the Loki Wave 2 and let your body take over. The design here is splendid and the toy will follow your body.
User-Friendly Controls – The button layout and placement also get high marks in terms of design. Simple and intuitive. No need to fumble mid-session.
Dual Motors, Double the Fun – Internal and external vibes work together very well. The entire ride feels enhanced due to the pressure from the perineum vibrator. Sure, prostate stimulation can be achieved through butt plugs, large dildos, and the like as well, but the dual stimulation aspect of Loki Wave 2 just adds a new layer of pleasure to the mix. Also helps with relaxing the body for some reason.
12 Pleasure Settings – And they all feel slightly different too. Plenty to play around with in here.
Waterproof & Easy to Clean – Warm water can also help some prostate owners to relax into the session and orgasm. Good that the Loki Wave 2 is completely waterproof. This also means that the clean-up process is quick. Some soap and a quick rinse and you are good to go.
Ergonomic – While the Loki Wave 2 is not necessarily marketed as a hands-free toy, it does stay in place surprisingly well. It just follows the body so damn well.
As much as I enjoyed my session with this one, I still managed to find two flaws to this otherwise wonderful toy.
Disadvantages of LELO Loki Wave 2
Premium Price Tag – Let’s not beat around the bush. This is an expensive toy! It firmly sits in the luxury tier of sex toys. All in all though, the fact that it makes prostate play so accessible makes it worth it.
No App Connectivity – With long-distance male toys being as popular as they are, you kind of automatically assume that everything made after 2020 comes with some sort of smartphone connectivity. This is not the case with LELO Loki Wave 2. Not a biggie for me personally though as I wouldn’t want to operate it via an app anyway. The button placement is wonderful as it is.

Final Verdict – Is the LELO Loki Wave 2 Worth It?
Yes, it is worth it.
If you are at all into exploring prostate stimulation then this is a great starting point.
As I said, I don’t consider myself an expert at prostate stimulation. Merely a tourist. However, this toy sparked something inside me with how intuitive and smooth it felt to use.
The experience made me want to explore my prostate more in the future. And this is a pretty big compliment coming from someone like me.
LELO in general seems to have carved itself a bit of a niche for delivering anal toys that are accessible to people who have never ventured there before. The LELO Soraya Beads are somewhat similar in the sense that they can turn people with “gated” backdoors into true anal explorers.
Can’t wait to see what they have in store for us toy enthusiasts in the future.
For now though, I’ll leave you fine people to ponder the wonders (that rhymed!) of prostate stimulation.
Take care!
